VILLA KATINO is a unique private place, has everything you need, and the most amazing views over the jungle and all the beaches in the area (best sunsets). Kids are very welcome and have always a lot of fun special with our pool beach entry. Proudly we can say, that all guest had a beautiful vacation and were very happy.
VILLA KATINO is located on a mountain above of Mal Pais on the short cut road to the other side of the tip Peninsula (Montezuma Waterfall, National Park Cabo Blanco). Most of our guests rent a car and drive over from San Jose International airport or Tambor National airport! For the hilly area here you need a 4x4 car!
VILLA KATINO is the best spot to visit the overlooking beaches Mal Pais (1 Mile), Playa Carmen (3 Miles), Playa Santa Teresa (4 Miles), Playa Hermosa (7 Miles), the beach towns Mal Pais and Santa Teresa (3 Miles) or go to the other side of the peninsula with the beach towns Cabuya with the National Park Cabo Blanco (4 Miles), Montezuma (6 Miles). We have also for you a list of different restaurants/bars, shopping mall, super markets, in a distance between until 7 Miles!
Walking distance to the beaches is far, because we are located 200 meter above the ocean. The drive down to Mal Pais is 5-10 minutes.
